We are Ätakontu, two artists (Ibai Leon and Sara Campillo) that live and work in our studio in Bilbao.
We created this artistic project based mainly on textile printing, transferring our graphic work to textiles and always playing with the limits of art/non-art. After taking part in different competitions with our first collection, Ego Showroom Cibeles Fashion Week (Madrid, Feb 2009); South 36-32n (Cadiz, 2009); Fitting room Bilbao sponsored by Toyota (2010); FIBart 10 with an installation at the international festival of Benicassim, Ego Showroom Mercedes Fashion Week (Madrid, Feb 2012), we continue to work on our collections and new projects.
