Artist Maite Cobo, creator of “Vas hecha un cuadro” -clothing and accessories brand-, opened her first shop-gallery in 2012 in the Old part of Bilbao, promoting two lines of businesses:
1.- Garments from the “Vas hecha un cuadro” line, with fabrics stamped with her designs.
2.- Unique garments hand painted and signed by the author.
“My clothes are not subject to the standards of fashion trends, they are based on works full of colour, strength, vitality and harmony, artwork with name and style. People who wear my clothes, leave their mark interacting with them and giving movement to them. My designs are suitable for all ages, they are timeless and unique. None of them are the same, because each customer takes the piece of art they identify themselves with. It is something that has to do with emotions.
